12th to 14th march Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Amazing place. A mixture of all kind of cultures in one spot: chinese, indians and of course malaysian. Very modern as well as traditional architecture. Between all this the monorail (a skytrain) remined me of the Jetstones.

It rained quite a lot, but in these couple days, we got to see a lot: Petronas Tower - the bridge was impressive, Chinatown, the Indian area and the National Museum. What I learned about this place: Malaysia was the main trading market from 1356 until 1511. Sailors from all the world would come here and trade with textiles, spices, weapons, porcellains, etc.. Then it got controlled by the Portuguese, then the Dutch, the British and the Japanese. Finally in Kuala Lumpur you see the big melting pot of cultures that has gone through their history even today.
